‘The Closer' Part 2 (Rhonda takes over on sales) By Billy Jack

When Ronda finally woke up she went into the kitchen and found Mike sitting at the table with the signed contract and the two checks in his hand.

He couldn't take his eyes off of the larger of the two. He really didn't have much confidence that Rhonda would make the sale, but when he saw the envelope on the table he suspected that she had to do more than just talk to get him to sign.

He heard her when she came in last night but he was so stressed out from the bills adding up, and not selling his product that he felt depressed. So he decided rather than turn over now and get the bad news, he would just wait until later in the morning.

He planned to give it one more week to see if he could get it to work. Then if they didn't make some kind of headway he would dissolve the company. He hated the idea of having to shut it down and going out and find a job, he always saw himself as a leader not a follower.

When he looked up and saw her moving over to get a cup of coffee he started to ask her what she had to do to get him to sign, but then he stopped himself. He didn't think he really wanted to know.
