Angel was stunned. "What?" She whispered freezing as Gabe pulled back from her.

He wouldn't look at her as he collected his clothes and dressed. Angel wrapped her arms around her knees shivering in spite of being sat in front of the roaring fire. Gabe grabbed the throw from the couch and wrapped it round her gently.

"I'm sorry." He whispered again. "I shouldn't have, you're much too sweet and you've already been through so much. It's not fair on you."

"Why?" Angel whispered again, her brain not able to keep up with everything. She had just discovered the dream man she had been in love with for the past 4 years was actually real and not a dream, but now he wanted nothing to do with her.

Gabe sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "It's complicated." He said not looking at her.

"You're seeing someone." Angel said numbly closing her eyes. Of course how stupid could she be?

"No! Well yes...well.... that's the complicated part." Gabe replied.
