When I woke in the morning I could hear room service setting up a breakfast table out on the terrace, and I found the bed empty. I put on the terry cloth robe provided by the hotel and hurried out to find the service maid placing the food on the table. She was a cheerful heavyset woman, who reminded me of the lady on the syrup bottle. "The gentleman sharing this room, has he eaten already?" I asked as she continued setting the table.

"No miss," she replied quickly, "he is still in the meeting downstairs, The Hotel prepared a breakfast for them."

I wondered why she would know this when I did not. My focus soon turned to breakfast however and I resigned myself to simply wait for his return. I spent the morning lounging on the terrace even sunbathing nude for a while. Around 10 a.m. there was a knock at the door. I opened it to find a young man carrying folding table and a large nylon bag. "Can I help you?" I asked.

"I am here for your appointment," he said as he brushed pass me and began to set up the table.

"Appointment?" I questioned him.

"Yes, everything is taken care of," he smiled.
