I remember the first time I went over to their house; it was my second day as their new neighbor. I had moved into the house next door to Santos and Gabrielle and the next day being Sunday, I went for an early morning run. After my run I returned to my new home only to realize that I had locked myself out of the house.

My keys and my cell phone were inside the house and in my hurry to go running I had jammed the door shut locking myself out. "Shit!" I cursed, angry at myself for being so careless. With no way of calling for help and being new in the area, I decided to visit my neighbors for any help they could render.

When I arrived at their front porch, I noticed there was no doorbell, at least none that I could see so I rapped my knuckles on the door. There was no answer, and my knuckles were becoming sore, so I decided to go round to the side of the house, perhaps if I could shout hello through the kitchen window someone might hear me.
