Linda's Confession

My name is Linda. I'm 35 years old and recently widowed. My husband Mark was seven years older than me and we were married for seven years before he died of a heart attack. They determined he had a congenital defect in his heart that had gone undetected and the death was sudden and unexpected.

Mark was married once before and had a son, Mark Junior, who came to live with us shortly after we were married. His mother was a drunk and was abusive to him so he was happy to get away from her. It was 8 or 9 weeks after Mark passed away that something started to happen. Our home is rather small and was built back in the sixties. There was a small bathroom attached to the master bedroom and the ventilation was terrible, so I always left the door ajar into the bedroom to allow the steam to dissipate. I was showering one morning and shaving my legs when I thought I noticed the door swing open slightly more than it had been. As I pressed my face to the obscure glass, I thought I saw a shadow move back into the bedroom. ...
