I wake up early, shower, shave, get into my uniform and head down to the lobby to get my morning coffee. Check the breakfast bar, nothing there I really want to eat, so I grab my coffee, make sure it's topped off and hit the door running. As I pass the front desk, I glance over, it's the same guy from yesterday, and I wave, but don't stop and talk. I get out to the car, and head to the base. The day turns into a blistering hot day, the kind you don't want to be outside and yet, you don't want to be stuck indoors. I keep thinking of that swimming pool, and the fun I had yesterday. I get back to work, and finish up the main part of the inspection. Only two more areas to check, and they are pretty small. My partner goes to one; I go to the other, trying to knock out the last of it quickly, I can hear that swimming pool calling. My partner comes up to the space I'm in, to see how it's going, I tell him I'm just finishing up. We walk out and head down to the office they gave us to talk about what needs to be done next. The two of us talk about needing to do one more office area, but decide that today is not the day to it and that we will finish them up tomorrow. We pack all our stuff up and head out for the day, telling the command that we would be back tomorrow.

On the drive back to the hotel, I stop off and grab a bite to eat at a ‘Sonic', been a long time since I'd eaten at that place, so you know I had to stop.
