"Sam you can't actually condone this? I thought you'd be talking me out of it!" Helen cried.

Sam shrugged grinning. "Why? It's your sisters fault for making you bring the letter saying she's dumping Lucas the day they are due to be wed."

"But marry him instead?"

Sam waved her hand. "You won't be exactly. The priest will say her name, the papers will say her name, you will sign your name. Ergo not really married as not legal."

"This is ridiculous!" Helen said throwing her hands in the air.

Just an hour ago she had delivered a letter posted through her door by her stupid sister and she knew it was to say she had left him. Now somehow she had been talked into going through with the wedding in the place of her sister so Lucas would save face in front of his business associates.

She had brought her best friend Sam along for moral support as she delivered the bad news and for some reason she seemed more than happy to encourage Helen to go through with the farce.
