Sam and her arrived at Mountain Rose at noon just in time for lunch. This was a working weekend for Sam and Dave. Samantha had not ridden a horse and years and had asked Sam to bring her along. The house was a nice two story adobe ranch house. An older woman came out on the porch with a big smile on her face. Samantha got out of the car and approached the older woman.

"Hi my name is Estelle - welcome to Mountain Rose" as she reacheding out to hugg Samantha. She guided them in the house then to the dining room. When they walked into the room a gentleman stood up to greet her. He had the most dazzling cobalt blue eyes she had ever seen. She was mesmerized by him as he looked at her as if he was seeing into her soul.

Estelle introduced them, "Sam, Samantha this is Jess, he is our foreman." Dave showed up everyone sat down to have lunch. The conversation was light, but friendly. After lunch, Estelle went to clean off the table, Samantha went to help but was shooed off.
