"Dear God, what am I thinking?"

Lucy rushes through the airport toward the baggage claim. She is both exhilarated and ashamed at the thought of finally meeting her former lover in a nearby hotel. She pauses in front of the Arrivals and sees that Don's flight landed 20 minutes ago, so he should be ready and waiting for her.

Lucy removes her petite suitcase from the carousel and slips into the Ladies' Room. She enters a stall and begins to remove garments from her bag. As Lucy flags a taxi, she realizes that she may look a little ridiculous leaving the airport in a short trench coat in the summer heat, but she had no other choice on such short notice. Don's wife was taking their children to visit family and he would be able to fly to meet Lucy, if Lucy was available. Despite having a family of her own, Lucy made herself available.
