Sara stared out over the Tidal Basin as Anatoli wandered around the Jefferson Memorial. She'd thought she was in decent shape—she did a lot of walking—but when they'd made it to the Memorial after a good forty-five minutes of walking, she needed a drink of water and a rest. Anatoli had sat for a moment, then got up to walk around.

They'd stopped by Anatoli's apartment before they'd left, and she smiled at the thought of it.

The apartment had been a little messy and sparsely furnished, although she'd noticed the large flat-screen TV in the living room. She'd laughed to herself while Anatoli had gone to get his jacket. It seemed that no type of guy—athlete, nerd, businessman—that she'd met was able to resist the lure of a large television. Nor, Sara had to admit, was she immune. She had been musing on watching her favorite movies on a screen that big when Anatoli had returned and caught her up in an unexpected but welcome kiss.

"No TV today," he'd said, and let his eyes roam down and then back up her body, making her blush. "Better things to watch."

Still blushing, Sara had laughed and hugged him tightly and was almost floating out the door as they left. ...
