A Fresh Start.

Authors Notes: Due to working commitments, my writing has had to take a back seat for a while, I will complete unfinished stories when I get the time. Until then, I've chosen to finish and post stories I started months ago.

From time to time, I meet up with friends I haven't seen in a while and when I tell them that I'm happily married with two wonderful children, when I show them a picture of Karen and the kids, I can almost sense by the look on their face that they expected my wife to be prettier looking or one of the numerous blonde bimbos that I dated in my teens.

At 5'5 with almost black hair and a distinctive intellectual look, Karen probably isn't the sort of woman that most men would flock to in a sea of women. In fact, for as long as I can remember, I've hinted to Karen that maybe she should consider the possibility of wearing contact lenses. I don't mind her rectangular black framed designer glasses, but they do make her look.....well...geekish.
