First Draft

He is standing at his drafting board, one of the big, sturdy ones that he has used for years when she finally arrives for their meeting wearing a modest dress, sedate heels and a pearl necklace with matching earrings, something of a modern Jackie Kennedy look. Her hair is nicely done of course.

He looks her over briefly, pleased with her obvious efforts to look good for this meeting.

"Come and look at what I have been working on for you."

She walks over, her heels gently clicking on the smooth floor, and stands next to him so she can see the remodeling plans he has been working on for her home. She was an after-hours appointment. Not something he usually did, but exceptions could always be made.

"Here," he says and places his hand softly on her waist. "You can see these better if you stand in front of me."

She positions herself in front of him and bends over the drawing board to get a better look. He moves his hands to her hips and starts to slowly press up against her. He hears her breath catch. He knows she is surprised at the motion, at the assertiveness of it. But he also knows ...
