Luchia was exhausted, depressed but most of all angry. After working night and day to help launch their newest product, Acme Co. had rewarded her with a pink slip. Oh they were apologetic, telling her over and over that it wasn't her or her work but that business was so off they had to let staff go. She understood about the current economic conditions and if she thought about it wasn't really even surprised. She had worked for the company straight out of college, thirteen years of loyal service and she knew that business was off. No, what made her furious was that no one from the family had come to tell her. Worse yet they sent a junior human resources drone to give her the bad news.

When she got back to her office she was even more shocked, as all of her personal items had been packed up for her and the file cabinets had been removed. She went to the computer to send out an email to let her clients know who to contact in her absence and found that her laptop had been locked to the docking station and all access had been restricted. She started to cry out of anger and frustration, as well as feeling like she was being treated as some sort of criminal or security threat. This was further supported by the out of the blue appearance of three men sent to "help carry her things out to her car".
