A Family affair.

I knew it was not a good idea to have a bachelors party at our house. But the bachelor was my wife Jenny's adopted brother, Don, and for a hundred other reasons, which I don't remember, Jenny finally persuaded me.

Don had been a late addition to Jenny's family and was thoroughly spoilt because of his unique circumstances. He was a very nice guy though. And handsome and athletic. He was just bone lazy because every one did everything for him. Jenny's parents always wanted a son but after four daughters and no further success for a number of years they finally conceded to the biological clock and adopted Don as a baby.

Don was much younger than Jenny and we were married quite a number of years before Don finally decided to marry. And for a hundred good reasons, the bachelors party was held at our house. It was to be a small affair. Don had got his girlfriend pregnant at every thing was arranged in haste. Only the immediate family was to be part of it. That is Don, his future brother in law, his farther in law, myself and three of Dons closest friends. Jenny was a regular party soul and would take care of all the arrangements and the catering.

On the night of the party everyone arrived early and we all settled down to a sedate barbeque by the pool, with lots to drink, off course. ...
