CHAPTER 5

Before college started for Maggie, she moved out to live with her mother's sister, Aunt Maude, in St. Paul, Minnesota. That moved her closer to the University of Minnesota, (U of M), where she would be attending college, that fall.

In her freshman year there, Maggie developed a reputation as a wild young woman. She went through relationships like a firestorm through a drought-dried forest. Her affairs were hot and over quick. Either sex interested her. But those in committed; what appeared to be, long-term relationships; drew her more. She could be irresistible and uncaring in her seduction of them. Few bonds between the affected couples were left, once Maggie had got her claws into one or both of the members.

Her Aunt Maude found herself caught up in it all.
