I had been focused on my work on the laptop, but the mention of my name caught my attention and I looked up. My wife, Melissa, obviously noticed my sudden alertness, "don't worry, I'm sure Emma won't try anything," she giggled.

Emma was my wife's sister, at only 18 she was thirteen years younger than we were, and I'd know her since I started dating Melissa eight years ago. She is reasonably tall about about 5' 9" and has an athletic build and shortish died red hair.

We'd arranged a couple of months ago for Emma to come and stay with us for a weekend as her favourite band was performing in town. She lived a few hours away and we only really saw her at family gatherings.

Unfortunately my wife had recently broken her leg and had found it more comfortable to sleep in our spare bed where she could stretch out with her full-leg cast. This meant that all the beds in our house were occupied and out couch, while very stylish and expensive, was useless for sleeping on.
