CHAPTER 11

The gym was large and dimly lit at that hour. Football practice was long over. Maggie found the coach easily, however. A couple of his team captains and he were making banging and clanging noises in the storage room in the back of the gym. The trio were cleaning and putting away gear there.

"I thought you would have the freshman players do that," Maggie told the coach, in a friendly tone.

The three men looked up. All three took in Maggie's garb. She looked sexy as hell. Maggie liked that the coach looked her up and down, too. He deliberately stopped himself before the two team captains could.

"We scare enough of them away during practice. We try not to pile more onto them afterwards," the coach answered. His smile and glance were very professional. He turned to the young men beside him. "Thanks, guys. I really appreciate the help," he told them dismissively

Both of the two young men continued to stare at Maggie all the way out of the storage room door. One didn't even break his scrutiny when he tripped on a broom.
