I was in my house that evening, wondering whether to go out and try and make something of the Saturday evening, or whether to stay home quietly. Suddenly my doorbell rang. That rarely happened when I wasn't expecting anyone. I could see that it was Rose and Charlie. I opened the door and let them in.

I wasn't really sure why they were there and so I just played the gracious host assuming all would become clear.

Charlie was dressed in tight jeans that hugged her long legs. She had a plain white short-sleeved blouse through which I could make out the outline of a white bra. Rose was wearing a summer dress, a medium length skirt and an elasticated top that hugged her presumably bra-less breasts.

"Pippa told us you have an interesting bedroom," Rose said.

"And did she tell you anything else about it?" I asked, wondering how ...
