Shelly meets Chris and Kim with surprise guest.

We hadn't been to a party in some time. Family, work, and other obligations had kept us from it. But we still were on line chatting with other members of our group on Yahoo. We had had met a new couple, Chris and Kim, and found them both to be very attractive and likeable. We also discovered they live less than an hour from us, and thought that they would be a neat couple to get to know better and to see how much fun they could be.

One of the group had rented a cabin in a park south of us across the state line in Alabama. Chris and Kim were making plans to drive on down and join the party. They suggested we should also come down and we could meet in person. This was a fairly large cabin, and the hosts expected 20 or more people to show up. Jason and I figured with that many people there, we could find someone we could connect with if Chris and Kim did not pan out as we expected.

This party was scheduled for a Saturday evening. Being as we would be driving quite a ways south, we expected to spend the night and not come back until Sunday afternoon or evening. My parents agreed to watch the kids for the weekend. We just told them we needed a weekend away, and they agreed. The kids just adored their grandparents, and were happy to spend the weekend with them.
