My grades might not reflect it, but I'm learning a lot down here at the university. Likely the most important lesson is to listen when the upper classmen in the fraternity tell ya stuff. Sure, they'll feed you a line of shit just for laughs when you are a pledge, cause that's kinda tradition and such. But if you are paying attention you can learn from these guys.

I wasn't paying attention back in October. I was still living in the dorm cause I am just a pledge, and I was having dinner at the house on a Friday night, and I mentioned that my old girlfriend Susie was coming down to see me the next weekend, to watch the football game, and I had plans to get a motel room and maybe she'd finally fuck me this time, and I was really looking forward to that. And one of the guys came up to me after dinner and gave me a beer, and he told me I should bring Susie by the house on Saturday after the game, and he was sure that would be a good time, and he winked at me. But shit, I was goona try to fuck Susie and what could be more fun than that? So I kinda made some excuse and let it go.

She was a year behind me in school, and since our town ain't real big, all us kids went to school together from grade school right through high school and everybody knew everybody the whole time.
