The due date had passed, and the weather was hot - Sarah was full term now and entirely over the whole "miracle of pregnancy" thing.

"I'm sick of this Alex, I feel like a giant sweaty whale. I want this baby out," she complained to her husband. It was their first baby and their sex life had been a little rocky over the course of the pregnancy, but around the six month mark they'd found the spark again and had been going pretty well - until the last couple of weeks. The weather was hot and Sarah was at her biggest so far and just found it difficult to get comfortable.

"Well we've got the appointment next week, I'm sure they'll consider inducing the baby if you haven't had it by then," Alex offered, trying to be helpful.

"I can't wait that long - try having this fucking thing in you for this long, and in this heat!"

"Okay, I guess we could always try to induce the birth ourselves," said Alex.

"Oh, and how do we do that smart ass?"

"Uh, well - sex apparently."
