Lara's Story Part Eight

They talked while Lara cooked and then enjoyed a nice meal that Gena had to admit was one of Lara's best which caused Lara to smile proudly. Then once they were finished and the dishes put in the dishwasher and it turned on, they finally got around to putting the doors onto the cabinets. They laughed and giggled as they worked to put the new hinges on the doors and then getting them put up so that they were straight. They worked late into the night as they both wanted to get the job done. Then they both sat at the kitchen table drinking their coffee and Mountain Dew as they looked over the kitchen deciding that it did indeed look so much better.

They were just getting settled down in bed when Gena sat up saying, "Oh I forgot something!"

"What?" Lara asked as she started to turn on her side from her stomach.
