Lara's Story Part Eleven...

Gena could see the fear in Lara's eyes and she could only imagine what Lara could be thinking and as hard as it was for Gena to do, she knew it was way past time for her to do it.

"I think I should have done this long ago..." Gena said and then she stopped herself and changed course, "No actually I shouldn't even have to do this."

Lara's eyes opened wide and Gena could almost see them beginning to water, "I need to tell you how sorry I am," Gena finally said in a rush.

"What for?" Lara asked as she had this confused look on her face and the fear there began to grow.

"For being a bitch and treating you like shit for these past couple of months," Gena said in another rush trying to get the words out as she wasn't used to having to apologize for anything.
