Larkdale! It's as if all the neglected women of the surrounding cities were suddenly dumped there; like a large rubbish tip. But, as luck would have it, there was a man, a very special man, a Doctor in fact, who knew how to treat their despondent ails, and put them right again.

His name? To his patients, mostly female, was Dr Pete, Peter Richards to give him his full name. Single, a bachelor, no less, 30-something, or other, tall, almost 6ft, short straight dark hair, no facial fuzz, clean, though not gleaming white teeth, glasses for reading, and quite handsome, especially his deep blue eyes.

For his patient's, although the surgery was halfway up an inclined hill, the walk up it was a scant toll for the reward thereafter.

Tracey, the subject of this tale, was 35ish, and along with her husband, who had moved to Larkdale for the sake of his job, new to the area. After about a couple of months, Tracey started to get hot flushes. Since moving, getting settled in, and all, they hadn't been sexually active, although that was somewhat par for the course anyway.
