The Student Reporters Part Two

That morning, they finished up on their studies before Ashley began to make some calls to the swim team to see if they would talk to her. While she was doing that, Jillian went down to the aquatic center to see if any of the current team was there. While none of the current team was there when Coach Wilder got fired, she was hoping that she could get some information that might have been passed down.

When Ashley made her first call she was almost relieved that the person wasn't at home and she got her answering machine. She debated on whether to leave her number and in the end she decided to do so. She actually had to get to the third person on the list that Jillian had created before she found someone that answered. This was the student manager who was a senior at the time. Jillian had left it up to her as to how she would introduce herself and as to why she was calling. Ashley had thought this through and had decided to go with the truth, at least most of the truth. She told the manager that she was a senior taking a journalism class. She was doing a paper on the swim team and she was going trying to do gat a bit of history on the team.
