The miracle is they move... my toes, all of them, as far as I can tell.

Thin shoes and cold pavements do not keep feet warm, as I am finding out standing by the road vainly trying to flag down a car to give me a ride. A truck would be a better bet as truckers are more sympathetic to a guy with his thumb pointing in the direction he hopes to go. But no trucks!

That 4x4 looks cosy inside, the driver is in what appears to be a thin knitted top, so she must have the heater set to how she looks to be, in her early twenties... hot. Long mid-brown hair with fashionable highlights, bright eyes that are outlined in black and that tell me no way mister is a lone female driver going to pick up a virile male. Pity, that babe has lips painted to attract attention and wrap around my... but hell, it's too cold for my ‘equipment' to do anything it's attracted to!
