Author's note: Because my new PC (of 9 months) is having to be repaired, I am, since it will be away for a week, Submitting this weeks story today.

At his place(s) of work, the rather flamboyant Roger had built up a reputation of being quite the ‘ladies man'. This doesn't mean that he's a womaniser, nor, for that matter, someone who uses women. He just prefers the company of, and with it - pleasing, women.

Louise, a somewhat close work colleague, saw Roger as the former, and so managed to avoid his attentions, however well meant they were.

Complements, like his attempts at flirting with her, she would just smile or laugh and brush them aside.

When her fellow female workers got together, to talk about ‘the night before', and with Roger, she found something to do away from them. Though not quite understanding why they were so buoyed about it.

Although Louise had only been with the company for 12 months, she had the necessary requisite they were looking for, as apposed to promoting from inside. Roger, on the other hand, had been there 18 months, and had worked for several other companies where his reputation developed. Both Roger and Louise worked in the marketing division, which can, at times, be pretty cut throat, and was the only thing they had in common. ...
