With the indoor sports arena all to myself, I decided to practice with my Cheerleader's baton, for the high-school's upcoming must win football game.

"Do, de do, do, emm, mm, mm, mm, yes!" I sang to myself. "La, la, la lee, toot, ta, toot, toot, yes!" I continued gaily, only to hear a short round of applause from behind me.

Turning to see who the appreciative audience were, I noticed: Larry, the QB; Alex, the stocky RB; and Ron, one of the tall WR's.

"Oh, hello, guys, come to see me practice my moves for your game against Princeton, on Friday?" I enquired enthusiastically, while twirling the baton in my hand.

"Something like that, Jenny," Larry rejoined, as they moved somewhat closer.

Then, as I tossed the rod up in the air, Ron reached up and caught it.

"We heard that you like tossing more than your baton, Jenny," Ron indicated, with a somewhat lascivious look on his face.

"Emm, I sure do," I told them warmly.
