Having completed my main weekly exercise, with the stairmaster, arm curl and thigh toning machines, I moved onto the dumbbells before finishing for the evening, and getting under a cool relaxing shower. However, I hadn't counted on the innuendos from some of the eight men nearby.

"What's Barbie doing here?" one of them said, out of my earshot.

"Looks like they're giving membership to just about anyone these days, it seems," another rejoined.
