The next few weeks of my summer break weren't nearly as exciting as that first day was! I spent my time working out in the morning and then watching the Cubs play in the afternoon or Sportscenter on the rare occasions the Cubs didn't play a day game. For the first time in a while, I did have a date during this time that I thought went well...but then the girl didn't return any of my calls or texts afterwards. A few days I realized this was a lost cause, I got another visit from Delaney and Ashley. Needless to say, I stopped feeling so bad about the failed date!
