SUMMARY

Darren is recently separated, heading for divorce. Melissa is a long-time friend, a confirmed single who doesn't like the restrictions and sacrifices that go along with being in a relationship. A trip to the nude beach provides the spark, touching off a highly sexual "friends with benefits" situation. They decide to get a place together, reclaiming what they call "The Single Life": all the freedom of being single, but still with each other close by for whenever the mood strikes.

During the house-hunt, Melissa starts feeling that the're starting to get too comfortable together, so in order to head things off before they actually end up in a relationship despite themselves, she puts a freeze on their sleepovers and suggests a larger house where they can ...
