Thursday Night

Violet was going to a party that night at the pub. She wasn't very enthusiastic about it, the next day was a work-day and she guessed she'd end up drinking too much since they were celebrating a friend's engagement. There would be a band there with a female singer that Violet didn't especially care for.

So Violet wasn't really expecting much from the evening.

But the band was not the usual band and the singer was not the usual singer. The new singer was called Kate Ng.
