It was that time of year again as I got ready to go to my company Christmas party. I was looking forward to a night out with my coworkers to enjoy a few drinks. Lately things around the house had been pretty hectic between my husband and I. I needed a good night out. The company had booked a bunch of tables at a local pub so that the employees could enjoy themselves. I put on a pair of black dress pants and a button up blouse and finished getting ready so that I could call a cab. Once I was done, I headed downstairs and told my husband that I was leaving and didn't know what time I would be back. He just nodded and continued drinking his beer. I said whatever and headed out the door. The cab picked me up and drove me over to the pub.

I headed inside and met up with all of my other coworkers, who were already drinking. I quickly ordered myself a drink and began to mingle. There was music blaring and appetizers being served. We all spent the next hour drinking and chatting until dinner was ready. It was your basic company Christmas party, people drinking everywhere and bullshitting with one another. We eventually sat down and began eating. Dinner was pretty good but it seemed like everybody was more interested in the drinks. Little by little everyone finished up their meals and a few of us headed to the dance floor. By now the alcohol had me feeling pretty loose and I was just going with the flow, dancing with some of my other female coworkers. Everyone was having a great time really letting loose and enjoying themselves. I wasn't about to be the party pooper so I also let loose and enjoyed myself. ...
