Last month I was sitting at my desk in my office going over a few things when my boss popped in and told me that he needed someone to fly down south to attend a corporate meeting. The company that I work for has several branches throughout the country and every couple of months, they hold meetings at selected branches and someone usually has to fly out and go to these meetings. I've heard that it is very boring but on the upside, the boss gives whoever attends a meeting a bonus in their paycheck and I was at a point where I really needed all the money I could get. I had fallen pretty far into debt and needed to come up with a solution to pay off all my bills. The bonus would definitely help my situation out. He asked me if I was interested in going and I give it a quick thought and said why not. I could use a few days away from the office. He thanked me and told me that he would stop by later and give me all the details. The rest of the day went on as usual and my boss eventually returned and handed me the information along with the plane ticket. I thanked him and took the information to look it over and was soon on my way home. The following week I headed to the airport for my trip.

I arrived at my hotel and checked in and went up to my room to unwind. I had a few hours before the meetings so I decided to just relax a bit and get some rest. Eventually it was time for the meetings, and I was on my way. I spent three days going back and forth to different meetings and everything my coworkers had said was true.
