This troublesome story concerns the resident's at no 1. Alex Trevelion and his wife, Simone, a ‘mail-order bride' whom he met up with in Prague, where she was known as Nikita.

Just over a year ago, she was a single, 22-year-old, young woman, living in the idyllic former Soviet Union country, which had since been integrated into Eastern Europe. Having only had a basic education at school, Nikita found herself working in a factory for what was very little money at all; thankfully, she was still living with her parents at the time.

This of course meant that, what with their strict upbringing, being alone with boys, young men for that matter, was somewhat scarce and hurried, with none of the niceties and romance that she'd both read and been told about.
