Stu checked the directions at the gas station. As he did he remembered, with fondness and arousal, how all of this started months ago. Today, he hoped, another chapter would be added to his life story. A chapter, he knew, that would never be known by anyone except him and Sara.

It had been a Friday and he had mulled over his dinner, forming his thoughts into a cohesive trail that could easily be followed when, later that evening, they would find voice. He had been startled earlier that afternoon when his neighbor Sara had called him over for some tool hand-offs. She, her husband Garth and his two kids were moving and they just had too much stuff. They made a pile in an unused corner of the garage and, once finished, went inside for a cup of coffee.

Stu had met Sara and Garth the day he and Jane moved into the house next door. Seeing Jane was great with child, they both pitched in to help leaving Jane to watch the babies. Over the weeks, months and years the friendship grew to the point where both couples had an open door policy. Stu tried to get to know Garth more but found their interests were totally opposite. Where Stu loved cars and rock, as did Sara and Jane - Garth loved theatre and classical music. It became a private joke between the couples that Stu actually had two wives and Garth was a tag-along.
