An iPad iDiot Needing Help

I am now 41 and have been in the financial services business since age 24 and face to face meetings with my book of clients has always been more than sufficient. The last two years, however, has been one of a digital invasion as the children of my largest and most valued clients have gifted them with an array of tablets which most have adapted as an integral part of their daily life. I have been getting call after call from a number of clients who want to send me an article, a request, a question, or a referral and I have to tell them I don't have a smart-phone or tablet, only the computer at home. The huge problem with a home computer is that I'm rarely in my office at home as I do face to face on-site client service. I had a laptop Netbook at one time but it died an uneasy death and because, even though small, it was unwieldy when in front of a client. The pressure kept growing and rather than continue to shun the inevitable I stopped at the Apple store and came out the owner of an iPad. I had a quick cursory lesson, the set-up of an e Mail account and an urging for me to sign up for the Apple One to One schooling and tutoring program. I declined but only because I couldn't take the time to go to the store and sit for an hour to learn the ins and outs of the tablet.
