What a fine mess you got yourself into this time, I thought to myself as I looked over my credit card bill. I had a pretty bad habit of spending and now I had done it. I managed to rack up an insane amount of debt on my card and didn't know how I was going to pay for it. I was working at a local school as a teacher's aide, but my paycheck that I got wasn't going to cut it. There was no way I could show this to my husband because we had problems in the past because of my spending and I knew that he would flip out and it would put a huge strain on our marriage. I needed to figure out how I could come up with some extra cash and decided to look through the classifieds of the local town paper to see if there were any part-time jobs available. I browsed through the paper for the next several days when I noticed an ad for part-time bartending work. It was for a bar across town that was looking for someone to work a few hours at night and they were even willing to train. I had some waitress experience from earlier in my life and thought about giving it a shot. I talked it over with my husband and suggested that maybe I should get a part-time job to make some extra spending cash and he agreed. He wasn't extremely crazy about the idea of me bartending because he knew that guys would be hitting on me all the time but he understood that we needed extra money. I decided to give the number a call and the guy on the other end immediately set up an appointment for me to interview. I was pretty excited and looked forward to the interview and hoped that I would get the job.
