A few weeks back my husband and I were invited to my sister's house to celebrate her daughters first birthday. She was throwing a big barbecue in the backyard and had invited everyone over to have a party. I was looking forward to it because it would've been a night out from the same old boring routine. Things around here hadn't been too good lately with my husband ignoring me all the time so a night out of the house was just what I needed .I told my sister that we would be there and we went over the planning for the party. We went over everything and I look forward to the weekend.

The following Saturday I ran around getting a few things for my sister's party before going home and getting ready. Since it was going to be an outdoor party and it was pretty warm outside I decided that I would go with a short pair of black shorts and a tank top. I figured my outfit might catch my husband's attention. I got myself ready and once he was ready we got in the car and made our way over to my sisters. She lived across town so it was a quick ride. Once we arrived we made our way to the backyard and helped her set everything up. Like usual my husband made a beeline for the coolers and started drinking some of the beer. I just ignored him and went about doing what I had to do. Eventually we finished setting everything up and little by little the guests started to arrive.
