Being adopted into a super wealthy home had its many advantages. I had access to whatever I needed or wanted. Sadly all the money in the world couldn't cure my adoptive Mother's cancer. She had been the biggest supporter of my photography hobby, getting me the best camera and lenses I needed.

When I was 11 years old she passed away and after my Dad buried her, he buried himself into his company. He was loving and understanding but most times he was busy growing the business his parents had left him.

I dealt with my Mother's passing by becoming depressed and emotionally closed up. So much so that going into high school my Father encouraged me to take up a sport so I would get out of the mansion and make some friends.

I decided to join the school's water polo team and surprisingly I was actually very good at it. The mix of being in the water and being able to be release my anger and aggression in a focused manner really helped me overcome my depression.
