It was vacation time. My folks wanted me to go visit my uncle as his own son was working abroad and he wanted me to come stay with him for a few days. He stayed in the south of India in a city called Chennai. I had made plans with a few friends and now my plans had gone down the drain.

I travelled to Chennai by train from Mumbai and it was almost 24 hours before I reached. I took a cab to my uncle's place. My aunt opened the door and greeted me. She asked me to meet my uncle then take a shower and come down for lunch. I went in to visit my uncle, he seemed very happy to see me, I sat down spoke to him for a few minutes and excused myself.

I finished lunch and told my aunt I would be in my room watching TV. The minute I reached I went to the balcony in my room and lit a smoke. I was puffing away as I noticed someone looking at me from the opposite house. It was a lady, she looked rather elegant, probably in her early 30's. I stubbed out my cigarette and went back in. I changed into my shorts and switched on the TV and lay down on my bed.

My aunt woke me up around 6 and handed me a cup of tea. I went back out to the balcony lit a smoke as I sipped on the tea. I must have had a few drags when I saw the lady staring at me. I tried to ignore her, finished my smoke and went back in. I came down to the living room, aunt asked me if I wanted some more tea and I shook my head. I went in ...
