Food for the Master - The Feast Continues

When Sabena had bought the house through a real estate firm in distant New York City, no one in the sleepy town knew she was going to turn it into a Bed and Breakfast. Of course, no one knew it was really the front for her evil deeds either. When the sign first went up, her neighbor two doors down was the first to object. Earl Thomas was a prominent attorney with the ear of the city attorney. He didn't like his neighborhood being infiltrated by something that was bound to lower the property values. Sabena was told that there might be some trouble from Earl Thomas and two or three others. She had dealt with these types of troubles before and would do so again.

There was a knock on the back door. Mrs. Thomas opened the back door, "Hello Mara. Please come in. I see the uniform fits... perhaps a bit too well. We can have that adjusted. I left you some instructions on the counter in the kitchen. Mr. Thomas is upstairs. He will probably come down shortly for his coffee. I will be back around 3pm. Any questions?" she asked of her new Latin maid. "No Ma'am. I think I can find anything I need." She said with a smile. Mrs. Thomas walked out the door and headed for her car. Mara had come for an interview the previous day. Her agency had called Mrs. Thomas after her inquiry about a new maid and recommended her. Her references seemed impeccable and Mrs. Thomas had hired the middle-aged Latin woman on the spot.
