The Hotel Show

"Man, I can't wait to get to the room to fix us a drink." I told the wife as we were leaving the concert that had just ended. There is a place about a two hour drive from where we live that has a series of outdoor concerts every summer. We have been going to at least one of the shows now for the last three years. They have big name bands for the shows and it is a very top notch place to go to. This show was on a Friday night and it was a sellout as all the shows are. We both took off from work on the following Saturday so we wouldn't have to worry about driving home and then going to work the next day with not enough sleep.

We had a hotel about two miles from the place where the show was at, so it didn't take us very long to get to the room. We had a room on the top floor which was nice since it only had three floors. We arrived at the hotel and headed to the elevator so we could beat the crowd because there were a lot of concert goers at the same hotel we were staying at. We got to the room and changed clothes so we could go to a restaurant beside the hotel. We just wanted a burger and fries to tie us over till tomorrow so we could drink and not get sick. We got the food and a mixed drink to go with it and finished just as the place was closing. We took our time as we walked back to the hotel since it was very warm out.
