A few months ago we'd decided to book a posh holiday. We were both working and the kids were settled, and it'd been a long time since we'd splashed out. We decided on Mauritius, and as usual I spent all the time researching the island and choosing the hotel. We booked an all-inclusive, 5 star hotel on the east coast, where the wind was stronger as we both enjoyed sailing.

The last few months had been very busy: me with my new job and John had a big work contract he was finishing. I knew I hadn't paid enough attention to John, so it was good to have some time to ourselves on holiday. I made a conscious decision I'd make it up to John ... and have some overdue fun for myself as well.

It was a 12 hour flight and we managed to get some sleep on the plane and landed around 9am, tired but exhilarated to be on holiday. I had awoke early and day-dreamed about David Beckham - why not? His body was superb, we were in a large roof top hotel suite with Egyptian cotton robes, silk sheets and a huge bath, David did amazing things to my body, and his stamina was superb. Unfortunately putting on the seat belts disturbed my fantasy, and when we landed I was definitely in the mood and decided to make it up to John as soon as we could!
