Accommodating a Neighbor

The construction superintendent for the developer that built our house left my porch and walked across the lawn to the empty lot beside us. We had moved into our newly-build home two years ago last week. That empty lot next door had been sold at the same time as ours, but the owners hadn't started construction on their home yet. The developer told us initially that they were dividing their time between Los Angeles and New York City. Now we have learned that construction will start next Monday and will take approximately four months for completion. Our two boys, aged 7 and 5 had used the lot to romp, bike, and play Nerf ball. Betsy, my lovely wife was ecstatic to know that we would have neighbors that were almost the same age as we are, mid-thirties. Our other neighbors are in their seventies, very pleasant, but not social bees. I'm Chad Ellison, age 37 next month, and I am an independent wealth manager and I have been for the last twelve years. According to what we heard at our closing, the new neighbor has a beauty queen and television actress wife and she was the reason for the divided living conditions. We understand that he is also an independent broker, but I don't fully know his status yet.
