A few months ago while I was on break from work, I noticed someone moving in to the empty house next door to me. I didn't pay much attention to it at first but did wonder who the new neighbors would be. The house had been empty for a while so I was a bit curious. A couple of days after that, as I was bringing in groceries from the car, I noticed someone standing in the driveway next door. I looked over at him and he quickly came over to say hello and introduce himself to me. He told me his name is Derek and that he had just purchased the house and would be my new neighbor. We chatted for a few minutes and as we did I give him a quick once over. I figured he was in his late 20s with a very nice build and his skin was reasonably dark. Overall, not a bad looking guy and pretty friendly to. We chatted for a couple of minutes before I told him that I had to get inside and tend to my groceries as well as my son. We said our goodbyes and I headed inside.

Later that evening as I sat at the dinner table with my husband, I told him about our new neighbor.
