Faces, Inc. Chapter 2: Flying, Fucking and Site Seeing

Dr. Katriel Price arrived in Hilton Head Island on Thursday for a conference that wouldn't start until Monday so she could enjoy being a tourist for three full days. On her first night, she met up with Art McMillan the dean of liberal arts at the university near her home. A friend and former colleague, Katriel met him when she taught anthropology. She also met Dr. John Caffee, a professor who works with Art and accompanied him to the conference.

Not one to be afraid to venture out on her own she was never the less pleased to meet up with Art and John. Little did she realize when she ran into the two men that she would end up spending the bulk of her time with John.

Yesterday she and John went kayaking in the saltwater marshes where they encountered a bounty of wildlife including bottlenose dolphins playfully swimming around their kayaks. That night they ended up in bed together.

Katriel woke up at 5:30 the following morning. Her inner clock reminded her of the time. She used the bathroom and put on the coffee maker to start brewing. She stood at the balcony doors naked, watching the sun creep up on the horizon.
