In my capacity as a part-time counsellor, something I took to after my divorce, I, in some way, solve other people's problems. However, in my personal life and my other part-time job, running a charity shop, it's not so easy. For instance, even though I completed an IT CLAIT course in MS office 2003 in 2005, Microsoft have since changed the layout, and so I find it generally hard to get to grips with the 2007 version on my laptop.

Like most other charity shops, I depend on unpaid volunteers to help out. Various Government sponsored groups send me a couple of unemployed jobseeker's for four week's at a time, in order to give them work experience, although most of them appear to already have that.

Recently, and at a time when I had numerous problems and admin tasks that required my attention or someone with the necessary skills to carry them out, I was sent two such jobseekers for four weeks, one of whom was Martin.

Tall, dark, and, dare I say it, quite handsome was Martin I noticed when he arrived for work early. In addition to his looks, Martin was also IT literate, having just completed and passed an ECDL course in MS office 2010.
