This is the first chapter of a multi-part story. Not much sex in it at all. Almost none. But it sets up the rest of the story. I hope it is enjoyable in its own way...

I was out mountain biking as I did most weekends. The friends I usually went with were out of town so I was just out on my own. I was descending a narrow single-track fast. I came around a blind corner. My hands were on my brakes the moment that I saw her. There was a girl sitting in the middle of the track with her bike lying on the ground. I skidded to a stop just before I crashed into her.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I've a flat tire. I don't have a repair kit."

"That's not very sensible. You should never go out without a repair kit. You never know what might happen." I decided to be a little bit flirty. "It's like going to a singles bar without a condom. You never know what might happen."

She blushed. "Do you have one?"

I knew she meant a repair kit, but I pretended she meant a condom. I didn't actually have one but that was no reason not to pretend I did.
