I was lying in bed one night just about ready for bed when the tones dropped. " House fire, 201 west main street" UGH!! I was hoping to get some sleep tonight but there went that idea. I got up and grabbed my clothes. I wear boxers and a tshirt so i don't overheat.

I get to the station just in time to grab my gear and jump on the engine. "Hey kiddo, ready to have some fun?" The usual remarks are made enroute but on scene we are all business. I grab a air pack and Joe and I head in to see if anyone is still inside. We search but find no one. We are pulled out to try to save the building. We try our best but we couldn't save the building but atleast no on was hurt.

We start cleaning up and finaly make it back to the station 4 hours later. We all are hot tired and sweaty. No of us look all that great and the nice dry white t shirt i was wearing is now fifthy and wet. I try to hide it by wearing my turnout coat because I forgot a bra but I get too hot and give up on that idea. By the time I clean up my stuff and are ready to relax, most of the guys are gone. It's just Joe, Rick, Tom and me. The usual sex comments are made about a wet tshirt contest but after 4 years in the fire co I am used to it and let them know that they could never handle me.
